Husband and dad of three. Always learning and building. Whether it's fixing up houses and building a business, putting together a backyard barrel sauna, or vibe-coding a GTD capture app, you can bet I'm dreaming up or building something interesting.
Whether it's a Claude-powered agentic investor or soda water on tap in the kitchen, the north star is the same: build an incredible life, on purpose.

I'm a Minnesota kid who trained as an engineer, then got hooked on designing life on purpose β money as a tool, time and health as the scarce things. Shaped by Getting Things Done, the 80/20 rule, and Tim Ferriss. Lately the obsession is getting world-class with Claude.
For thirteen years I ran a little real estate business on the side β bought, fixed, and managed a fourplex and a couple of houses. In 2025 we sold all of it. (Blame Die With Zero.) We traded some net worth for memories: seven months wandering Europe with the kids, while they still think we're cool.
People come to me for getting started in real estate, getting started with Claude, faith and life questions, or figuring out how a normal family on a normal salary can pull off a big trip.
The thing I'm proudest of? It's the four people I get to do all of it with.
Long, slow stays beat racing through ten cities in ten days. I've spent months in southern France over the years; this year we brought the whole circus across eight countries.
Barrel saunas, cold plunges, a note-capture app for the perfect GTD workflow, a Claude-powered investing agent. If it makes life better, I'll try to build it.
Thirteen years as a small-time landlord taught me to think like an owner β and bought us the freedom to take a year off. Then I sold it all.
Cold water, hot saunas, biking everywhere, and sleep I'm forever trying to fix. I like chasing what actually moves the needle.
I keep a personal blog where I think out loud about money, travel, faith, and the questions I haven't sorted out yet.
Three kids, one very patient wife, and a shared taste for adventure. The center of all of it.
