The professional side

For over a decade, I've been a person leaders lean on.

I help executives sharpen and communicate the vision, design views so progress is clear, and personally oversee the highest-impact projects for the team. Fifteen years, fully remote, tying together teams from Brazil to Tokyo.

How I got here

An engineer who took a left turn — and never had just one job.

I trained as an electrical engineer. Then one Saturday at a conference in Minneapolis, I met the CEO of a small software company — and it quietly changed the direction of my career.

A few months later I quit my job, drove out to Southern California, and spent my first weeks working out of a small portable building behind a church, learning the company from the inside. That company was Liferay. I was somewhere around the 200th employee. We're many times that now — and I've been there, fully remote, ever since.

I grew up alongside the company, and I wore a lot of hats on the way: I wrote its first customer knowledge base, then led the global team that ran it, served as a kind of chief of staff to an APAC VP, and now handle programs and key projects for our fast-growing Revenue Operations department.

The title keeps changing. The work underneath doesn't. I sit next to a leader, help them shape and sharpen where we're headed, and then make it real — building the dashboards that show how the business is actually doing, keeping the people above and around them in the loop, and quietly making sure the few things that matter most don't slip. Why? So the leader doesn't have to hold all of it.

What people come to me for

Three things tend to land on my desk.

01 — The important one

The critical business need

High-priority and non-negotiable — but still vague, undefined, and not yet anyone's job. That's the one that lands on my desk.

02 — Order from chaos

The rat's nest

A tangle of KPIs, projects, and urgent requests, all needing to move at once. I make it comprehensible, clean it up, and keep it moving.

03 — The right hand

Extending a leader's reach

Taking weight off an executive — organizing the priorities, driving the initiatives no one else owns, and handling the communication that makes the important things happen.

Selected work

A few things I've built and shipped.

Signature project

CPQ implementation

Project-managed Liferay's Configure-Price-Quote system end to end — a year-long program tying together internal engineering, an outside implementation partner, and our revenue operations team. I owned the requirements, ran user acceptance testing, triaged 141 bugs to resolution, and drove the launch and hypercare.

The business case targeted a 60% cut in quote cycle time and 25% faster quote-to-close.

Founder → product owner

The customer knowledge base

In 2011 I founded Liferay's first customer knowledge base and wrote every article in year one. It grew to 2,000+ articles serving ~1,800 customers and 100 internal engineers. I built and led a ~20-person global contributor program, became its product owner, and created the company's first ticket-deflection metric and dashboard — from scratch, because nothing off-the-shelf existed.

Current work

Revenue operations portfolio

Today I manage a portfolio of 40+ concurrent initiatives across owners from Brazil to Dublin, Madrid, and Tokyo — roughly 90 projects delivered in 2025 — spanning sales and marketing operations, analytics, pricing, and compensation. I build the KPI dashboards leadership relies on to see how the business is performing.

Chief-of-staff work

APAC executive reporting

As de-facto chief of staff to an APAC VP, I designed and wrote a recurring executive report from the ground up — translating strategy into something the C-suite could actually see, and giving leadership real visibility into the team's work.

Where I'm at my best

The operator who extends a leader's impact.

The constant across all of it: fully remote, globally distributed teams, and prioritizing by real business impact.
